Privacy Policy

Last updated 31 August 2026

This app has no account, no server of its own, and no analytics. It does not collect, transmit, or sell anything about you. Everything it knows stays on your device, and deleting the app deletes all of it.

What stays on your device

Both are stored in the app's own container. Nothing is uploaded, backed up to a server we control, or shared with anyone. If you have iCloud Backup switched on, Apple backs up the app's container the same way it backs up every other app, under Apple's privacy policy and your own iCloud settings — we never see it.

Health

If you turn on Log to Health, the app writes finished sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. That data belongs to you and lives in Apple's Health store.

Network

The app plays sound that is generated on your device as it plays. There are no audio files, so it works with no connection at all.

It makes exactly one network request, on launch. It fetches one small static file — tueyza789.github.io/deep-orbit/policy.json, the same site as this page — to see whether this version is still supported. The request carries no identifier and no information about you; like any web request it necessarily reveals your IP address to GitHub, which serves the file. If the request fails, the app carries on as normal.

There is nothing to buy in this version, so there is no purchase, no receipt and no payment information of any kind.

What we do not do

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Health disclaimer

This is not a medical device and it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent anything. Some people find sound like this calming and some do not. If it is not comfortable, stop.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it.
