Deep Orbit synthesises every sound on your device as it plays. There are no audio files, so it is small, it works with no connection, and it never repeats.
Email siroj.8b@gmail.com — bugs, questions, refunds, privacy, or a soundscape you wish existed. It is read by one person and answered within a few days.
If you would rather do it in the open, you can also open an issue on GitHub. That needs a GitHub account; the email does not.
Why is it so quiet? On purpose. It sits below your system volume and there is no boost, so it can be left on without becoming the thing you are listening to. Turn your device volume up rather than expecting the app to be loud.
Why does it stop? Mental Reset, Quick Reset and Wind Down are finite: they slow down, get quieter, and end. That is the point of the app. Drift and Focus Field are open-ended and run until you stop them, or until the sleep timer lets go.
Does it work with the screen locked? Yes. Audio continues. The breath haptics need the app open and the phone unlocked — that is an iOS limit, not a choice — so the screen is held awake only for the short paced sessions and allowed to lock for the long ones.
Nothing comes out of my speaker. Check whether Headphones only is on in Settings. With it on, the app deliberately stays silent rather than playing out loud.
What does it cost? Nothing. This version has no purchases in it at all — every soundscape, the breath pacer, the sleep timer and the mixer are there from the moment you open it. No account, no sign-up, no adverts.
